Audi R8 is the pearl in the family of Audi cars. The super-car is one of the most discussed and most beautiful super-cars made ever. Of course always there will have designers and tuners, who will want to develop this car and made it more aggressive. The company StaSIS created own tuning program of Audi R8, which is called R8 Challenge Extreme Edition.

The tuning program is for the 4.2-liter V8 engine of Audi and showing high improvement of speed, acceleration, dynamics and power. The Audi R8 Challenge Extreme Edition has power of 540 hp, which is 120 hp more than the serial model. The increased productivity is reached with compressor Eaton 1900, modified cooling system of the engine and programmed ECU. The maximum torque was also increased from 475 Nm to 590 Nm. The engineers of StaSIS equipped the tuned Audi R8 Challenge Extreme Edition with new exhausting system from stainless steel, sports suspension, more powerful breaking mechanisms and 20-inches wheels. The basic Audi R8 is really beautiful and powerful, but this tuning program is giving much more to the driver and increasing the acceleration and the power. The result of the tuning program is that the tuned car is acceleration from 0-100 km/h for 2.6 sec, which means that it is 0.8 sec faster than the basic model of Audi R8 V8 and even 0.1 sec faster than the standard Audi R8 V10. These dynamics characteristics are giving really great advantage of the car in drags, but it is not everything. The car is more stable with better brakes and lighter than the serial Audi R8 modifications. It is having great comfort and the interior is designed to be mode beautiful. As we know that most of the super-cars are quite uncomfortable, but here the tuners thought about the drivers and passenger and created some additional extras in the interior, which is making their traveling better and the car cozier.
