The
Audi S5 got all the eyes of the official presentation last months
and the car really has great dynamics and speed. The American
tuning company StaSIS made new amazing tuning packages of Audi
S5. The tuners definitely like the brand of Audi and prefer to
improve these cars in their latests developments. The engineers
of StaSIS made mostly the mechanic changes of the car, but also
had small changes in the exterior and interior of the car.
From
the tuning company offer their model with light 20-inches wheels,
which are giving high stability and increase the acceleration.
Definitely the suspension is one of the basic changes in the mechanics
of the car. The improved sports suspension, which is originally
created by Ohlins is tuned and installed in the StaSIS version
of Audi S5. Also the powerful braking system from Alcon is implemented
into the car for safety of driving and also to decrease the weight.
The project was called Audi S5 Challenge Edition and definitely
the most interesting and important part from the tuning is the
engine. The tuners increased the power of the 3.0-liter TFSI engine
with 82 hp. This
means that the power was increased from 333 hp in the basic model
to 415 hp in the tuned one. The maximum torque of Audi S5 Challenge
Edition is increased to 500 Nm. These mechanical changes are great
as features, but definitely can be felt only in driving the car
on any of the test roads. The final result of the tuning is definitely
amazing – acceleration from 0-100 km/h for only 4.3 sec. The engineers
of StaSIS reached these great characteristics of the Audi S5 with
re-programmed block for management of the aggregate and installing
of new exhausting system. This is not only decreasing the weight
of the car, but also increasing the power. And definitely the
final result is amazing, so Audi S5 Challenge Edition is faster,
more stable and more beautiful than the standard model of Audi
S5.
